    4th on Flagler will be held on Sunday, July 4th from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. along Flagler Drive in Downtown West Palm Beach, with the National City Fireworks Show taking place at 9:00 p.m.

    HIGHLIGHTS

    PNC Bank Fireworks Show: This stunning fireworks display will light up the night sky over the Intracoastal waterway beginning at 9:00 p.m.

    Musical Entertainment: 4th on Flagler will feature two stages of live entertainment at a DJ dance area.

    The Palm Stage, located at “the Palm” near the fountain in Centennial Square, will feature live performances by the rock-n-roll group “Jerico” and by “ESP.”

    The Meyer Stage will feature the rock, reggae and punk blend of “Mighty Mongo,” the country, rock and bluegrass sounds of “Taylor Road,” “Tino Coury” presented by WiLD 95.5, the National Anthem performed by Lindsay Vitola, and the WiLD 95.5 Hour featuring national recording artist, “Paper Tongues.”

    The DJ Dance area will groove to the sounds of Absolute Entertainment with DJ Sobes and DJ Chaos.

    Unfurling of the Red, White and Blue: In a grand tradition unique to the 4th on Flagler, guests can watch the unfurling of a giant four-story high American Flag by the West Palm Beach Fire Department. Then guests can join in saluting our country as all are invited to Pledge Allegiance to the Flag.

    Firefighters Splash and Dash Skills Competition: Beginning at 5:15 p.m. along Flagler Drive between Evernia Street and Fern Street, you can root on your favorite local fire department as they compete in friendly tests of skill.  These wet and wild events and games will challenge the firefighters with water battles, keg rolls, a bucket brigade and more.  It’s the perfect way to start your day at 4th on Flagler!

    All-American Kids’ Area:**New Location this Year:  at the Beach/Landing area along the Flagler Drive seawall near the Great Lawn** Kids of all ages are sure to enjoy the star-spangled activities at the All-American Kid’s area.  As always, the City’s Department of Parks and Recreation will be on-hand to coordinate these great free crafts and games.

    Food and Beverages: It’s not 4th on Flagler without great food at great prices, and this year is no exception.  You’ll find food and beverages readily available throughout the event.

    Beatles Tribute Band Performs Free at the Meyer Amphitheatre (Sunday, June 27th)

    Let It Be, a Beatles tribute band, will perform from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. this Sunday (June 27) at the Meyer Amphitheatre.

    You will be amazed at how real the sights, sounds and excitement that these four lads create. Extraordinary effort has been made to recreate the excitement of an actual Beatles Concert! From “A Hard Day’s Night” and “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” to the finality of “Let It Be”, the boys will entertain you with three professional costume changes, the actual instruments Rickenbacker, Hofner and Gretsch Guitars, Ludwig Drums and Vox Amplification. “Let It Be” plays virtually all of the hit songs that “The Beatles” ever recorded….note for note! Love Me Do to Hey Jude and every hit song in between.

    The concert is be part of the City of West Palm Beach’s free concert series on the fourth Sunday of each month.

    Scholars Word is a reggae/dub band based out of Florida that’s been together for almost a decade touring all over the U.S. Never one to compromise the sound or message of reggae, Scholars Word has strived to remain true to the art while maintaining their original style and letting their different musical influences shine through. They have just release a new Dub Collection CD, just in time for their return to Clematis by Night.

    Clematis by Night 15th Anniversary Celebration

    Clematis by Night celebrates its 15th Anniversary on June 3 from 6pm-9pm.

    Look for a new beer garden with added tables and seating, new activities with local cultural partners and a merchant showcase. The party venue will spin 180 degrees to face the city’s new waterfront.

    Performers include Fastball, Ruling Mercury, and the Dub City Derby Girls.
